What is school‑based ABA?
ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) uses evidence‑based strategies to teach new skills and reduce barriers to learning. In school, ABA is integrated into class routines and aligned with IEP/IESP goals.
How are services funded?
When ABA supports are included in a student’s IEP/IESP or approved by the district, services are typically funded by the school system. Funding processes vary; we’ll help you navigate your options.
How long until services start?
Usually within 1–2 weeks. For urgent situations, we offer same‑day consultations.
Will SLF work with my child’s current providers?
Yes. We collaborate with teachers, SETSS providers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers so the plan is consistent across the day.
How do you measure progress?
We collect and review data regularly, then adjust the plan as needed. Families receive clear updates on their childs progress.
Is ABA right for every child?
If ABA isn’t the best fit, we’ll discuss alternatives and next steps with you and the school team.
What ages/grades do you serve?
We support preschool through high school within NYC.
Do you serve my area?
We serve NYC (all five boroughs). Contact us to confirm your school’s location.
